I am trying to find information on my uncle Jim. he was with the 10th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers and was killed in action in Burma on 7/3/1943, I have recently been informed that he was "Mentioned in Dispatches". I have his memorial information in Rangoon, but wondered where I could get the details of his M I D. any information gratefully received. John Rutter.
Hi John, welcome to the forum, you'll find alot of useful information here. With regards your Uncle Jim have you tried the London Gazette? You can do a search on their website. Somewhere on here there is a link but I am sure if you put the London Gazette on your search engine you'll come up with it. I hope this helps Regards Kieron
