Her parents emigrated sometime between 1909 (youngest sibling's birth in the UK) and 1918 (Edward and Fanny Ashley domiciled in Victoria, Australia). It is not known if Dora went with them but it seems likely as all of her siblings died there" .

 

Hi Tom,
Found your posts whilst researching the family tree, realise it was taken awhie ago but wondered if you had a photo of the memorial with Hilda Rosina Lee as the one on the post does not seem to refer to her. I am not a direct relation but she was the daughter of Hart Lee nee Howard who was my grandfathers sister! I have searched in vain for references to her in the medals and service registers on Findmypast & Ancestry so very grateful to have discovered reference to her here.
