    The irony is that I live in Woodingdean some 2 miles away but for personal reasons have been unable to get there, will PM the reason. "If I knew you were coming I would have baked a cake" well not perhaps a cake but at least a cup of tea.

    Most grateful. Considering their age the two WWI WRAFs appear to be in better condition than the WW2 WAAF, probably better material or in a less exposed position, but they are most welcome.

    I think they are replacement stones, as a number of the other ones there seemed fairly new.
