I have an old photo of my father and his then RAF "unit" and written on the back is

    107 Squad
    D flight
    2 wing
    7 Squadron.

Cpl /Inst Parry in centre .

I do not know what any of this means and it does not appear in his service records.

    Would appreciate any help.

Do you know when it was taken?

There's quite a bit of info on the Sqn at the National Archives:

Air 27 lists the Squadrons Operational Record Books.

Thanks Drew5233 , Unfortunately he did not put a date on the photo. In the background the building has a the name "Tudor house " whick makes me think it was a guest house or hotel . I know he was posted to 9RC Blackpool in nov 1940 and there is a guest house there called by this name so I think it could be alink. I will follow up your link to the National archives. Nick
