    Hi,
Could anyone help me make a little more sense of this service record? I understand the transferring to Royal Welch Fusiliers and stationed in North West Europe, but what does the rest signify...such as, the units and 626/39 and SA/33/Int/5293 ?

    Thanks in advance.

    The first one is

Interposted from 54 RHU - Reinforcement holding unit to 50 RHU

ACI/626/39 and authority SA/33/Int/5293 is just the army office codes jargon which should be ignored!

The examples you show don't mean damn all to any civilized person as they represent the instructions from HQ to the clerk

to DO something about the previous page where he was on the waiting list X(iv) to be transferred (TOS) taken on strength 50 ???

but that he remained on the waiting list X(iv)- in the UK…

    Cheers

    Thanks very much!

The Unit section...which looks like it says 6 RWF...does that mean he was in the 6th batallion?
