    Sergeant ERIC ALBERT BLORE

1194649, 19 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
    who died age 21
    on 19 August 1942
Son of Thomas George and Lillian Harriet Blore, of Cippenham, Buckinghamshire.
    Remembered with honour
    RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL

I was in a collectables shop and got chatting to the lady owner and she happened to mention her Uncle was shot down during WW2 and they did not know where he was buried or have any other info. The family thought he was buried in France
So have printed off the Runnymede column photo and will drop the rest of the info you have supplied back to her

Just to let you know I dropped off the info to the Niece of Eric Blore.

She was quite lost for words ,emotional and very appreciative and could not believe the information was available so quickly .

    great work thank you again

Thank you WW2talk:Sergeant ERIC ALBERT BLORE 1194649, 19 Sqdn., Royal Air Force VR

    Hi Sue

I am new to this site.
Eric Blore was my Mother Violet's brother. Your Mother and mine must have been sisters!
I have letters he wrote to my Mother whilst undergoing his spitfire training.
