This is a shot in the dark, but I'm hoping that someone can provide information about my grandfather, Albert W Weeks # 762557, if not the unit in which he served. Some brief information I have about him is as follows: He enlisted Jan 6, 1926 at 16 yrs old as a gunner. Then served in Royal Signal Corp on the coast of France as a lineman in 1939, 1940. Then in Malaya with the Signal Corps, followed by N. Africa in 1942. He was wounded and discharged from the army with the rank of Captain. Thank you
Hello Carl a good place to start would be to apply for his service records Ministry of Defence | About Defence | What we do | Personnel | Service Records | Making a Request for Information held on the Personnel Records of Deceased Service Personnel regards Clive
