Spit, these are probably the war diaries you're looking for, held at the National Archives (TNA):

WO 171/1339 7 Manchester Regiment 1944 Jan.- Dec.
    WO 171/5262 4/5 Royal Scots Fusiliers 1945 Jan.-Oct.

No problem. Do you want just the diary pages or the annexes for those months as well? If it's just the diary pages it should not go over £6.00. If the annexes as well, it's hard to say but probably in the range of £10.00 to £15.00 in total.

I am the founder of the adoption foundation for the war graves at the CWGC Venray War Cemetery. ( www.adoptiegraven-venray.nl )
We started this foundation in June and at this moment 345 out of 694 graves have already been adopted.
I myself adopted the grave of John Hill, Piper at 4/5th. Bn. Royal Scots Fusiliers. He died of wounds on December 16, 1944 and was previously buried at the American War Cemetery in Margraten. On April 28, 1947, his remains were transferred to CWGC Venray War Cemetery. I'm looking for the November and December 1944 war diary of Royal Scots Fusiliers to find out how he was fatally wounded.
