    Hi

We're trying to find information on Walter Ernest Hoskins, b29/08/1919 in London. He died in 1987. We know he was in Italy from around '43 onwards and earned a citation for galantry. Apparently, he disabled a govenor on his vehicle and was able to go up / down hill at speed to get supplies through whilst being under fire.

He was also in the Royal Engineers during the evacuation of Dunkirk and was, apparently, was of the last men out.

I say 'apparently' because we heard this information a very long time ago. We've searched and searched for this information but can't find anything anywhere. Can anyone help us, please?

    Thank you so much.
