Searching for info on my grandfather - Sgt Major in the Paratroopers during WW2

Discussion in 'Searching for Someone & Military Genealogy' started by Leanne Chetham, Oct 12, 2019.

  1. Hello everyone!
I’ve had a quick scan through the forum and everyone seems so knowledgeable, so am hoping you may be able to help me! My grandfather was a Sgt Major in the Paratroopers during WW2 although I know little of his career unfortunately. I was wondering if anyone here could help me to trace some info on him please? His name was Norman Chetham and I know during his career he visited India and also believe he was there at Normandy. Other than that I don’t have much else, so any help would be massively appreciated! Thanks in advance, Leanne
