    Very sorry to hear this, not a good week for celebrity deaths. I totally agree he was the best Bond, and he played a lot of other great acting roles too. A very talented man. I remember watching an award ceremony where he received a lifetime achievement award, which Billy Connolly was presenting him with. Billy introduced it by saying "Congratulations Baldy"! Sean's face was a picture, but Billy just about got away with it! So funny! R. I. P.

    Many great movies, including The Hill. He'll be sadly missed.

    Never noticed his shoulder title said 'Wessex' before & I've watched that film several times.

    I always liked his tongue in cheek performance in Robin and Marian:

    Daniel Dravot has fallen, but the foeman's chain shall never bring his proud soul under.

    "The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
    In the ranks of death you'll find him.
    His father's sword he hath girded on,
    And his wild harp slung behind him.

    'Land of Song!' cried the warrior bard,
    (Should) 'Tho' all the world betrays thee,
    One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard;
    One faithful harp shall praise thee!'

    The Minstrel fell! But the foeman's chain
    Could not bring that proud soul under.
    The harp he lov'd ne'er spoke again,
    For he tore its chords asunder.

    And said 'No chains shall sully thee,
    Thou soul of love and brav'ry;
    Thy songs were made for the pure and free,
    They shall never sound in slavery.'"

    Peachy's heart is broken.

    For those with access to the BBC, The Untouchables and The Hill are back-to-back on BBC2 tonight. That's my Saturday night sorted.
