i once asked a question but with no reply.... anybody know if there is a book or dvd off the re-inaction of operation sealion...when it was re-inacted .. cheers
Don't know of a reenactment but the book of the 1975 wargame with Galland et. al. in attendance is mentioned on this thread: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=48086&highlight=galland#post48086 Seems it was imaginatively called 'Sea Lion'. Hope that helps raf. Adam.
The Sandhurst wargame was fictionalised in Richard Cox (ed.), Operation Sealion (Hardback: London: Thornton Cox, 1974. ISBN 0-902726-17X)(paperback: Arrow Books 1982 .ISBN 0099284405) An analysis by F-K von Plehwe, "Operation Sealion 1940", was published in the Journal of the Royal United Services Institution, March, 1973 raf, have a look at the message I posted today as well: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8254
