I have Soldiers Died in WW2 CD and am happy to look up for members, I also have access to Vietnam and Korea Casualties for the US of A and most other war dead databases. The CD only covers about 100,000 men, my interests are Irish men who died in ww2 however where this CD falls down on its ww1 counterpart is instead of giving the name of the village or townland the guy was from it just says Eire Had I known this before I spent a fortune on the CD I would not have wasted my money. Naval and Military Press take note. Tom.

The other thing this CD cannot tell you is what battalion a man was in. For some reason that was left out in the original document, from which this was compiled. Makes it very difficult to work out where a man was! I have also found that Army Soldiers attached to Commando units are usually with their parent regiment, with no mention of the Commando attachment - but this is normally shown in CWGC records.
