T4023 is a Scout Mk1 built by Nuffield and would have had a Middlesex CC registration in the range HMC315 - HMC514
Armoured Division markings of this period are a mystery to me. Would a white disc on red ground indicate an early 7th Armoured Div ?

From the same source, an Aveling Barford Bren No2 Mk1. in service with the Australians and resplendent in Caunter Scheme. T4355 would have had a number between HMC702 and HMC737.

The caption is wrong as the census number clearly shows that this is not an Australian Local Production carrier.

Both interesting shots. The Scout looks to have been reprinted in the early British desert scheme, this would be the same finish I suspect my Scout was painted from the paint I found on the lower armour. The Bren looks good in its caunter scheme, again an in service repaint. You see quite a lot of Bren carriers and MK1 universals in caunter scheme but I can't ever remember seeing a Scout in the Caunter scheme. The Australians operating the carriers is again evidence supporting My Scouts survival, to my knowledge no record exists saying they were ever officially issued with them.
