I agree with sol. Also on there is a thread on 142 Commando, the Sabotage experts for the 1943 Chindit operation. Some of these men came via the Bush Warfare School in Maymyo, Burma. 142 Commando Bgd Bamboo.

You are totally correct sol. The unit had its name and title changed on a few occasions (142 RIASC), this was supposed to hide it's true identity and the nature of it's work. Bamboo.
