    I think Antiques Roadshow started? an episode with a reference to Cody or perhaps it was due to a member of his family turning up there with something, or both?

    Cody's real surname was Cowdery. Cody was his stage name, modelling himself on Buffalo Bill Cody, doing similar Wild West shows in America and the UK.
