I'm starting to plan a trip to Saint Valery-en Caux next year at the anniversary of the 51st HD surrender. My question is do the commemorations still take place every year and if they do, are they on the 12th June or the nearest Sunday. Also is everyone welcome to take part and oes anyone have contacts in France or with the 51st veterans. I'll be travelling with a group interested in the escapers from the POW march, relatives of the men and the people who helped them evade.
