    From your post I am not sure what you are actually after?

    I was up there earlier this year and got some pics for two members on here, and may, I stress, may, revisit sometime but won't know when!

    Hi Bob

    Fancy meeting you here!!

    Couple of suggestions for you re the names posted, seem likely to be your men.

    Could D. Stoll actually be D. Stowell, who was a Pte in the East Surreys and killed at Dunkirk see: CWGC :: Casualty Details

    J Palmer actually be A.J Palmer a Fusilier in the Royal Inniskilligs KIA in Italy
    see: CWGC :: Casualty Details

    No obvious candidates for the other two but happy to keep looking if you haven't ID'ed them yet?

    Hello Bob

    If you use Geoffs search engine Geoff's 1939-47 Search Engine
    and have a trawl through that.
    Also from my experience I have found names on War Memorials that.

    1 Do not show on CWGC either they have been missed/not reported to CWGC or the local town/village have possibly included a person who died during the war years but possibly not a casualty of the conflict.
    2 Incorrect spelling of surname Franklin could have transposed to Frannet.
