S.A.S & S.B.S family research group

    Hey folks, I set up a research group on facebook for family members of of WW2 SAS and SBS members to help each other look into thier family history ( My grandfather was 2 SAS)

    just message on this thread and I can give you the link to join in a message

    no offence to anyone but this is purely for relatives or people we feel can add somthing to the group so is not open to public

    My dad was one of the first 50 odd and was posted to L Det in August 41 if you send me a link i would be quite happy to help others out.

    My late father was 16 when in Dec 1942 he joined 2 SAS in North Africa before passing through Italy to end WW2 somewhere in Austria. He was Cpl Raymond William Barr. Any info greatly appreciated by living family!
