Hello, I recently bought an original russian helmet from the ww2 from 1943, but it has some marks under the pads, of which I do not know their meaning, if someone can tell me, I would be very grateful. Here's what I know about the helmet: RKKA SSh 40 (Russian: СШ-40) steel helmet, manufactured by LMZ in 1943. Well visible Р-1 Л-43 (Lys'va) marking and batch label. Full condition with originally attached liner and chin strap, intact as found. The chin strap comes complete with an original retention loop and a steel adjustment buckle. There is a factory seal on the inner shell on the back, standard for wartime production; shows the letter Л ("L", for Lysvenskiy metal factory), a manufacturing date of 1943, and size 1 Olive color is typical for the Lysva factory. Next to the factory ink stamp is a serial number stamped into the metal signifying the change in the forge that produced the sheet metal for the shell. THANK YOU
