As Swiper says not many head sheds were happy with the GS Cap as there was never any uniformity with it - Even when a squad tried to wear it the same it didn't look right. It never lasted long and it wasn't that long before everyone was wearing the beret after the war which is still worn today.

your dad did well to serve for 37 years and gain a B.E.M. all I can say is "well done that man" and at the risk of being called predantic again - I would ask you not to engage in any type of arguement with me on any thread or subject as I am not too bothered to deal with you, having better things to do.
