The website mentioned in the previous post above was an invaluable source of information regarding manufactuer and distribution of WW2 medals P Garwood also kindly replied to emails and supplied me with further information on the subject. That information allowed me to compile a chapter about my Dad's WW2 Medals that features in a book I have compiled about Dad's WW2 Royal Navy volunteer service for just my immediate family. The research for my book took two years and was a secret to the rest of the family. The presentation to family members a few weeks ago was a genuine cause for surprise and astonishment. Along with many other people on the WW2 Talk website, P Garwood deserves rich thanks from me for his kind and willing assistance. Best regards, Steve
