Royal Marine Commando Advance Formation

I am interested in what formations RM Commando Troop Sections would adopt when moving forwards; but not in contact.

For example when 'A' Troop from No.45 RM Commandos were advancing towards the road junction and Brachterbeek Station. Would this have been in the A.A. Formation (i.e. single file) as set out in the 'Infantry Training, Part VIII. – Fieldcraft, Battle Drill, Section and Platoon Tactics' or the arrowhead type formation used for cross country advances?

Also what would the order of advance be for a Section, i.e. would it have been the Assualt Sub-Section, followed by Sub-Section Two, with the Support Sub-Section bringing up the rear?

I know that would largely have depended upon the situation.
