Looking at the details for Ancona War Cemetery I notice that two troopers from the above were killed on 30 August 1944 - 306214 Trooper C.H.Hard and 305814 Trooper L. Wanstall.

Where exactly were the RHG in action and to which division were they attached?

    Thanks in anticipation,

I think RHG didn't fight as a unit themselves but formed a composite regiment.
Household Cavalry Composite Regiment - Wikipedia
1st Household Cavalry Regiment served in Italy.
Don't think they were attached to a Division, I think they were a Corps recce unit.
