    Hi All

Not sure if i have posted in the right place with this?

A friend of mine has a box made by their relative, they no nothing about it? It has Lance Corpal j.o.t Williams, Royal engineers written on it.
Would anyone have any info on the box? what was it for etc?

They thought it was WW1 and i posted on the Great war forum, they quickly noted the George V1, so after 1937. They think he would have made it himself as part of his trade test.

the box is made of wood it's about 8ins in length and 7ins across the lid slides off it.

Lance Corpal j.o.t Williams served in both world wars.

any ideas what he would have used it for?

    cheers

    Tony.
