In 1940. after Dunkirk, I understand that Naval mobile guns and gunners were seconded to the army for east coast defence, with additional (trainee?) gunners from the army to form mobile units up and down the east coast: army and navy archives seem to have no records, but it was hinted that they may have been attached to the Royal Artillery. Has anyone got any comments, ideas or suggestions? Ednamay
