    Who died age 22.
    On 1 June 1942.
    Son of Mrs A.Brannon, Of Brantsy, Whitehaven.
    Remembered With Honour.
    Whitehaven Cemetery.

    Michael:

    Leading Aircraftman John Metcalf Brannon, known by family and friends as Jack, was the second son of Thomas Brannon and Mary Ann Brannon (nee Metcalf). He died in hospital at Inverness following an adverse reaction to an inoculation.

    The family home was at 55 Haig Avenue, Bransty, Whitehaven. Jack Brannon is also commemorated in the Borough of Whitehaven WW2 'Book of Remembrance'.
