Article from the Goole Times, 7th November 2013 War medal reunited A war medal given to a Goole solider has finally been reunited with his descended family, thanks to an article in the Goole Times. The prestigious British War medal was donated to Goole First World War Research Group to research, who discovered it belonged to Roy Hedley. After an article about the medal being found accidentally in an allotment some years ago appeared in the Goole Times earlier this year, the soldier's family came forward. Lesley
