Just a small remembrance of the man whose skill in designing the Lancaster saved many allied aircrew in WW2. Killed in a post-war flying accident. Moggy
Roy Chadwick, born in Widnes, contemplating adding a small tribute at the end of my research to both Chadwick and Air Marshall Sir Edward 'Tap' Jones, who was also a native of Widnes
And thus ended the great Chadwick/Dobson parntership that gave the RAF so much, perhaps the City of Lincoln BBMF Lancaster flying is in its self a tribute to the old red rose/white rose partnership. RIP
