Am trying to help someone compile a list of Roman Catholic war dead for both World Wars in Llanelli, South Wales and was wondering about the best way to go about this. Thanking you in anticipation for any help. Ronald John Saunders
The only way would be to get access to service records, which show religion, but that might prove difficult as many from WW1 are lost and those for WW2 still closed. The records of CWGC and the Army Roll of Honour do not show a soldier's religion.
