Hello! I am looking for information regarding Robert Sillis for a soldier biography project. I have basic information from his file with the Royal Canadian Air Force; I know his number in the air force was R76683, and he was in Squadron 104 overseas. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on March 26 1922, and lived there until he enlisted on June 27 1940. After a couple years of service mostly in northern Africa, his plane went missing over Tobruk, and he was declared deceased on September 30 1942. I would appreciate any information available, especially regarding his life before joining the army. Thank you!

The following re the loss of Robert Sillis comes from the publication Royal Air Force Bomber Losses In The Middle East And Mediterranean by D. Gunby and P. Temple. I would appreciate it if you would acknowledge this source in your work.

    Thank you, Peter
