    Hello everyone,

I’ve been looking at the casualty records of a Battle of Britain pilot, who was shot down into the sea off Deal on 27 November 1940, and was picked up by a boat which was on its way to Ramsgate. The records I have indicate that he was initially put through the “R.N. Sick Bay, Ramsgate” before being admitted to the Ramsgate General Hospital later that same day. I don’t really know where this sick bay was located (perhaps HMS Fervent?), and I would love to know, because knowing might help me to identify the boat type, at least, which he was rescued by.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Jacob
