    Hello everyone,

I am a college student who currently has the assignment of investigating World War II. I need to know the main facts of it from authoritative sources, such as .org, .edu, or .net sites. Does anyone know where I can find this information?

Thank you all for your help.

    Hello,
Welcome. I think if you are looking for qualify websites about WWII. You can search DMOZ.org directory with appropriate keywords. This forum is one of the recommendation from DMOZ. I hope this help though you may stay here and ask us specifc questions.

Stephen, how long is a piece of string. You have a daunting task ahead of you.
Ask about specific areas or battles and you will recieve valuable and informed advice but its a bit tricky replying to such a broad question.
I hope I can help in any way.

Do also remember that the Net, unlike printed books, is largely un-edited. So what you read may not be right, even if it is from a .net/info/org etc site. I would also accompany your research with a visit to the library.

I think your instructor gave you a Master's Thesis to do instead of a routine assignment. Try and narrow down your focus...World War II killed 56 million people and is a huge subject. If you can tighten your gaze, I can help you out.
