Reputation system

    Just turn it off via your usercp then.

    User CP>Edit Options> untick 'show my reputation level.

    It was 'manipulated by one click' because Owen obviously gave you positive rep for another post. Nobody on here has got past 10-20 'points' because it is a new system therefore just a few points either way can currently make a difference.
    It is neither a 'reward' nor an 'encouragement', it's a harmless background bit of fun and a way of sending small messages.
    Taking the rep system too seriously is not unlike taking the Internet too seriously... Pointless.

    The one click was me giving postive reputation on the "Waiting For Us To Die" thread which cancelled out the negative reputation.
    It was only mean to be a bit of fun this rep-points lark.
    Have you checked your User CP and scrolled dwon to where all the comments are and who gave you them?

    Not currently.
    There's a plug-in that allows it.
    I'll have a word with Otto and see if we can add it to the 'things to do' list mate.

    Aye, it would be good. I keep going to rep people but it keeps saying I need to spread it around before giving it again. The problem is, I can't remember who I've been repping. lol.

    It's officially on the real official list now.
    Our wheels grind slowly on code alterations but it will get sorted... eventually. :D

    Because if you check your user cp.
    Otto's just added the software modification.
    (Rep you gave should now be below that received, there's also an option to edit comments left, within 5 minutes of giving, to amend any errors.)

    Note to self; If I want something done...

    Nice one Adam. Looking at my user CP, all the reps I've gave are now in a separate box underneath the reps received. However, I it says I've only repped you once and I'm sure it's been more than that. Tried to rep you now and it says I need to spread around before giving it again. ??? I'm confused. Any idea how many reps you have to give other people before giving to someone else again?

    The amount of people you need to have repped before visiting the same member again is set to 10.
    The new 'reputation given' section on your usercp will show only the last 15 people you gave reputation to.

    Shouldn't the little green (or red) boxes appear before the person's name, as in, "Your reputation precedes you, Mr. McGillycuddy" ;) Just kidding..
