Remembrance Sunday

Last year I stopped marching on the AJEX Parade and opted instead for a seat at the Cenotaph and this year, G-d willing, I shall repeat the process.

The AJEX service and Parade will take place on Sunday, November 18th and on my way to the Cenotaph i will pause in the Horseguards Parade Ground and look to see how many of my old comrades have made it to the ceremony.

My first parade was in 1947 and I seem to remember that in the 70 odd years since then I have only missed two of these parades.
