    Possible cause:
    HMS Daneman (FY 123)

    HMT Daneman (T/Lt. Stanley Leith Friend, RNVR) is believed to have struck a submerged iceberg in the North Atlantic. Sunk in position 58º03N, 44º00W after being taken in tow on 8 May 1943.


    Found this DANEMAN H37 but no mention of the DEMS gunners
