    Location: Northolt airfield

    Pilot: Sgt. Antoni Siudak P-5128 P.A.F. Age 31. Killed

    REASON FOR LOSS:

    Bombed whilst taxiing by a single raider at 12.05hrs at the Squadron's base at Northolt. The attacking aircraft a JU88 was later shot down by a Hurricane of 229 Squadron and crashed in Leatherhead, Surrey.

    Tragically a look out on one of the hangars was also killed during the attack. A/C 2. Henry Stennett from R.A.F.V.R.
