    His death was reported in the Daily Record (page 3) on 11 Nov 39.

    Details on Scotlandspeople website if anybody is researching him - birth certificate reference 086/A16. Will be viewable online in 2022, before that you would have to order certificate.

    Parents marriage, Barvas district in 1902, reference 086/A17. I'm assuming it's this marriage as the only other one on Barvas was in 1888 for a John Paterson. His mothers name then is Mary Campbell.

    Death is recorded in Minor Record section in service returns reference 154/AF87.
