CWGC - Cemetery Details Details of the above loss..... 2-3 February 1945 426 Squadron Halifax VII NP819 OW-B Op. Wanne-Eickel Took off from Linton-on-Ouse at 2044 hrs to bomb an oil refinery. Very badly damaged by flak which necessitated a diversion to Manston airfield in Kent. However, F/O. Talocha RCAF was not satisfied with his approach and decided to go round again.
