    Op. Mulheim

    Took off from West Wickham at 2318 hours. Shot down by a night-fighter and crashed at Kehrum, 4km south east of Kalkar.

    During the course of 1943, RAF Bomber Command visited Mulheim on 4 occasions. 560 aircraft were dispatched with 501 attacking the target of Transport, Industry and Oil. 789 tons of HE along with 856 tons of Incendiary were dropped. 35 aircraft were missing or lost.
