These 6 RCAF casualties are on the Singapore Memorial but with a Date of Death of 19th June 1945.
ANDERSON AEF J/20943 358 RAF SQDN 19/06/1945 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE
BOND WG R/260658 358 RAF SQDN 19/06/1945 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE
ELFORD EF J/45996 358 RAF SQDN 19/06/1945 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE
MAXWELL A R/281890 358 RAF SQDN 19/06/1945 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE
SILVERTHORN AM J/44519 358 RAF SQDN 19/06/1945 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE
VAUDNER WA R/284637 358 RAF SQDN 19/06/1945 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE
Is that because they were posted as "Missing" when failing to return on 19th?
(Not wanting to be picky about the date, but for future clarity, is there a known reason for the discrepancy?)
No matter, we will remember them
