    311 Squadron
    Wellington IC HD982 'Y'


    Missing from anti-submarine sweep over the Bay of Biscay.The Wellington was possibly shot down by enemy fighter aircraft. A Wellington was claimed as shot down by Lt Deuper of 13/KG40 at 1732 hours on this date.
