I saw a documentary about them in Channel 5 in the UK that included filming inside one; a lot of their history programmes are made jointly with the History Channel so it was probably the same one. Was Antony Beevor in it?

Yeah, I believe Beevor was in it as well. Has to be the same programme then. Would be nice to go further into one of this towers some day.

Closed down and stripped out T'berg in 1993/4 prior to handing back to the Berlin Senate or Luftwaffe, can't remember who as we were handing over so many ex UK occupied real estate at the time.

Spent so much time working and with a young family that I never got to see many of the Historic sites that I would have liked to.

I waited until my dental appointment and reasonable weather and finally this morning I took a stroll along the railway embankment at the side of the towers.

It was not possible to take a good picture whilst standing on the end of the platform, hence the walk across the road and several hundred meters to the footbridge access to the towers and park.

Still not a great deal more to see than the original photos except from a slightly different angle from the North-West.

You can tell that it is Autumn with the leaves changing colours.

I have also taken a few shots of the Regional and express train lines with "S" Bahn, looking towards the Gesundbrunnen Railway Station and Shopping centre.

I hope that you enjoy the photographs.

    Regards
    Tom
