Temptage, I have been back to the Reichswald Cemetery last Saturday to have a look at grave 56. G. 8. But this is the grave of Lt M.C. Shawcross of the Devonshire Regiment, who fell on 27 March 1945. So we definitely have a problem with Sedgwick.

temptage I thought it would only take a few weeks......

ooooops.....just noticed my error on reading back.

    I have typed 'G' instead of 'D'

    Shawcross IS at 56. G. 8
    Genge IS at 56. D. 18

but there is nobody listed at 56. D. 8 (not 56. G. 8 as previously mentioned)

Names either side of 56. D. 8 are Conaty and Kellock

Sorry about the error........note to self........double check details before sending in future!!!!!

    Temptage - No problem.

IIRC you suggest that Sedgwick could be found at grave 56.D.8. If so, I will have a look this weekend (weather permitting)

Both Sons of Gunners, Royal Artillery. Myself and the Son of Patrick Collins, who was killed in Action in Normandy on D-Day, attached to Royal Marine Commandos and is buried at Ranville War Cemetery. Mr Collins was visiting with family to see another family grave at the Reichwald, who died whilst serving with the RAF.
