Hi Paul, I checked a couple for you, wasn't sure about the one at BALLYCRANBEG (MOUNT ST. JOSEPH) ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCHYARD . It is, I think, Ballycranmore on the Ards Peninsula, a wee bit out of my normal reach, No promises, but I may be going past there this summer as I may try to get a WWI grave nearby at Ballyhalbert. In the meantime a couple of general pics to be found here. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/PHOTOSwords/ArdkeenAll.htm#cran http://mbphotography.fotopic.net/p54138961.html from this site http://mbphotography.fotopic.net/c1591785.html According to cwgc and this below http://www.churches-uk-ireland.org/i.html http://www.churches-uk-ireland.org/images/durham/ingleton.jpg INGLETON (ST. JOHN) CHURCHYARD is in Co. Durham ...? Regards, D
dbf, Rechecked Ennis on CWG still comes back Ballycranbeg, County Down NI. Maybe they got it wrong. Cheers Paul
dbf, Rechecked Ennis on CWG still comes back Ballycranbeg, County Down NI. Maybe they got it wrong. Cheers Paul Paul, they may not have; it may have changed. Some churches also known by different names now, having been re-dedicated in the meantime. In this case, I think it is an older name used for the area. What matters is that I think I have found it. If I am ever passing I will have a look for your man. D
Just going through my older threads and updating them. The ones in black are still outstanding. If anyone can help with them please contact me. Thank you to all those who have given their time and effort to assist me in my project. Cheers Paul
