Originally posted by nolanbuc@Mar 11 2005, 05:32 PM Thank you so much, Gerry! I have sent the email, please let me know if there anything else I need to do. Hi Nolan, It is on the way - when it arrives, the only thing you need to do is to settle down to 478 pages of a great read! With best wishes to you and yours, Gerry
So whats the plan? If nothing has been arranged how about this: Read the first chapter and in a weeks time I'll post a new topic "RG Bierman War without Hate chapter 1" or something similiar and we can then discuss the chapter. I thought going for the one chapter instead of x pages will make a better place to stop and I'm not sure of an average reading pace, so I think Ch 1 is about 50 pages. Hows that sound? If I have missed the previous arrangements apologies, if you're planning to take part could you confirm so I know whether to bother. Ali
Sounds good to me, Ali! Everyone else game? I have the book and I'm ready to go! I'm looking forward to reading it one way of the other. Thanks again, Gerry!
Count me in Ali - I'm more than happy to re-read one of mt\y favourite books on the Desert War. The one chapter discussion seems to be the way to go! Gerry
Been working away so haven't followed this up- so week from now will post RG-bierman etc. Regards Ali
I've been reading and enjoying the book! Well written, and the subject matter is riveting! I was briefly distracted by a book on William the Conqueror that I have been waiting on, but I have my nose back into "War Without Hate". But I am well past 100 pages, and I'm ready to discuss whenever everyone else is.
