    I took these Friday 01-11-13 along Moor Lane, Harmondsworth, Stanwell.

    Halifax V DK253 ZL-M.

    On returning from a raid on the Dunlop rubber factory at Montlucon, France, the aircraft crashed at Moor Lane , Harmondsworth, Middlesex. Three of the Canadians are buried in Brookwood Military Cemetery, but Sgt. Begbie RCAF was taken to Scotland and cremated at Edinburgh Crematorium. The others lie in various United Kingdom cemeteries.
