Belly Engage the enemy more closely

    Hi All
I'm currently looking into the records of my grandfather-in-law who was joined the Militia in July 1939 before being posted to the RASC and the 4 Div Amm Coy. He left the UK to join the BEF on 27 Sep 1939 and was evacuated from Dunkirk on 29 May 1940. He never went overseas again transferring to the ACC. He never spoke about his experiences at all and we would love to try and trace the his movements up to and during the evacuation of Dunkirk. I realise there is a slim chance, but any info or clues to the war diary would be appreciated.
    See records attached.
    thanks
    Paul

Annoyingly it's one of the few 4 Div war diaries I don't have. This is the one you want:

    WO 167/236 4 Division Ammunition Company 1939 Sep-1940 Jun

Thanks Andy, appreciate that. Do you have any plans to visit the NA in the near future?
