Hello, PTC stands for Personnel Transit Centre. This should assist you: RAF Ground Units - WARTIMES.ca Regards, Dave
Thanks Dave, that's really helpful. I've been trying to search online for the numbers etc but didn't get me very far. Michele.
No. 59 PTC: Personnel Despatch and Reception Unit: 59 Personnel Transit Centre, Italy; appendices... | The National Archives Don't see anything for 33. The handwriting on these records is somewhat atrocious.
Hi Michele, If you haven’t found the answer via google 3 RC at Padgate became the post war Bruche Police Regional Training Centre, Warrington, Cheshire. It closed down about 20 years ago and I understand that houses were built on the site. Steve
