Yes, it's a fair cop guv'nor, Q Bty is definitely noted as being SP in the info available on Rob's site. It was though very late when I posted

The above RA Arm of Service Marking appears on photos of trucks, motorcycles and Morris Quad Tractors taken in Singapore/Malaya around April/May 1941. Can anyone explain the significance of the horizontal white line? Would it indicate Indian Army RA Regts or RA Regts attached to the Indian Army? The photos have been colourised from B&W but the white line is still clear on the B&W.

It indicates 'Army Troops' - units not part of a division or a corps. They were under direct control of the higher HQ to be loaned out as required.

Is that the unit at the docks with the 4.5-in howitzers?

Some are at docks, which may be Port Swettenham. They are in the LIFE collection by Carl Dyans. From what I can make out the guns look like 25pdrs.

The curved shields look like 4.5s to me. Keep meaning to check who had them as this has cropped up elsewhere recently.

Yes others are attempting to find the Regiment(s) the vehicles and guns belong to. Most likely early reinforcements to bolster Singapore/Malaya. It has been suggested that one Regiment might be 155th Field Regiment. I thought I'd try the experts on this Forum.
If it helps I can identify the following Tac Signs: A3 & B2 on red elliptical and D2, E2 & F2 on blue elliptical but whether the colours have been correctly colourised I don't know.

If memory serves, this ones are original colour photos. You can see a slightly lighter dab of gas detector paint on the bonnet which speaks for their authenticity.

Does anyone know the date they were taken?
